Are acrylic roof pergolas waterproof?
Rain management depends on the exact roof, pitch, joints, flashings, drainage and installation. Wind-driven rain can enter through open sides, so any blind or infill needs to be planned with the roof.
Will an acrylic pergola make my house dark?
It depends on the tint, roof area, depth, orientation and nearby windows. Review the effect from inside the adjoining rooms.
Which acrylic tint should I choose?
Consider the site, sun path, adjoining rooms, roof area and intended use alongside the sample colour.
Can acrylic be combined with a solid roof?
Yes, where the selected systems and design permit it. The junction and drainage must be resolved as one roof.
What affects shade and comfort?
The roof product is one part of the picture. We consider:

- Adjoining windows and rooms
- Air movement through open sides
- Low-angle sun at the edges

How are the roof and house connection planned?

What should my proposal confirm?
Your proposal identifies the exact fixed-roof assembly, including the product, thickness, tint and current limitations.
It also confirms the frame, fall, joints, flashings, gutters and outlets, with current care and warranty information for the selected products. Consent depends on the final design and property. We’ll identify the checks needed for your project.
